Check out this beautiful 10×12 gable shed that was built in Florida!
It was built with the 6’x6′ shed doors on the gable end of the shed. The 10×12 shed is designed to be a backyard shed that has the roof framing made with 2×4 rafters using a bottom chord for extra strength. The walls are framed, like most of our sheds, using 2×4 boards at 16″ on center. The T1-11 siding is a very strong exterior siding but other sidings such as pre primed masonite or cement based boards can be used.
The floor joists for our 10 foot wide sheds are 2×8 boards set on pressure treated wood rails.
A 10×12 shed is a great backyard shed that can store a large amount of stuff to help you keep your backyard free of things like bicycles, lawnmowers, tools and kids toys.
