These are photos of a 10×14 Run in Shed with a wood rail foundation. It was built for a camp in New York. The roof pitch was changed from 4 in 12 to 6 in 12 and a few additional trusses were added to handle snow loads greater than 40 lbs. This run in shed design uses a 6×6 treated wood foundation rail and tow straps at each corner which allows the run in shed to be moved by towing it and also often alleviates the need for a building permit because the structure is not permanently attached to the ground. Check with your local building department to find our about permitting requirements for your area.
