This helps properly season the firewood to ensure that it will be ready for burning. The roof overhang on the front of the shed provides some protection for the front opening.
Using a firewood shed is the perfect way to season your firewood investment and keep it from rotting. Firewood should be seasoned for 6 months to a year, depending on the type of wood, so that it will burn well.
