This beautiful firewood shed was built in Ellijay Georgia. When you season firewood it needs to be kept in a place that is open to air movement so that the wood can dry out properly. But it still needs to be kept covered so that it does not get totally soaked every time it rains or snows, which will slow the seasoning process. Our firewood shed performs the function of seasoning perfectly. It allows the wood to be covered and still lets in plenty of fresh air around the wood to let the wood dry. The floor of the firewood shed is built with 1 inch gaps between the floor boards to let the air circulate up through the wood pile.
