Post and Beam Construction - Walls are built using vertical posts with 2x4 girt boards. Siding is attached to the girt boards.
Burried Post Foundation - The posts are direct burried.
Kickboards - Kick boards on the inside help keep your run in shed strength and durability. They can be substituted with 4x8 Plywood.
Engineered Trusses - The trusses are built by a local truss plant. Engineered trusses insure that the roof cantilever will support your local climate conditions.

Foundation: Direct bury post.
Floor: The floor for horse run in sheds is typically left as existing dirt.
Walls Framing: 4x4 posts
Wall Height: The front and rear wall heights are 9'-1".
Doors: 3'x7' tack room hinged door and 4'x8' sliding door plans included.
Window:The front window is optional. Plans included to have the grate welded locally.
Siding: 4x8 Textured plywood siding and 1x2 wood battens.
Roof: The roof is framed engineered roof trusses with a built in cantilever. It is sheeted with 7/16" O.S.B. for strength and can have asphalt shingles or metal roofing installed.
Roof Pitch: 8/12 on the front and 4/12 over the stall.
Roof Overhang: 4'-0" on the front. The sides and rear use a narrow rake detail which is about a 2" overhang. Longer overhangs can be installed by extending the roof truss tails and installing a barge rafter on the gable ends.
Roofing = Asphalt shingles or Corrugated metal roofing.
Trim = 1x4 and 2x6 wood are used to finish the corners, roof eves and facia.
