SHED PLANS GARAGES PHOTOS

8x14 shed plans - The perfect way to maximize a narrow space!

The 8x14 Shed Plans have 112 square feet of floor space. That is just under the size of a 10x12 bedroom in a typical house. It has lots of roof to store large equipment or tools like lawn mowers or bicycles. If you add hooks or shelves to the shed walls you can greatly increase the storage capacity of the shed by getting small items off the shed floor and onto the walls.

iCreatables has a few different 8x14 shed plan designs that include a lean to shed and a modern shed.

iCreatables 8x14 Backyard Storage Shed Design Styles

This is a short description of our 8x14 shed designs.

8x14 Modern Shed Plans: Our 8x14 studio shed can be used as a home office, a storage shed, a work studio, a workout or yoga studio. It has a low slope 2 in 12 roof to give it a modern feel and keep the overall shed height down. It also has lots of windows to let in lots of natural daylight. The shed door is spec'd out as a full lite glass door but you can build your own door or buy any door style you like. The generous front roof overhang give the shed a modern edge and also provides extra protection for the entry.

8x14 Lean To Shed Plans: A lean to shed is the best way to build a simple shed that keeps costs down and makes it a bit easier to build the shed roof. Our lean to design shows you how to build the 3 rear shed walls at the same height and then the taller front wall. The siding spans the triangle above the walls on the ends of the shed so you do not need to calculate all the different walls stud lengths.

The rafters for the roof are 2x6 boards. Each of the roof overhangs are 6". The lean to design is great for building up against another structure like a fence or house because the roof drains away from the structure.
