The 16x24 Gable Style Shed Plans Include:
8' wall height - The shed walls are designed to use 92 5/8" framing studs which makes the finished wall height about 8'-1".
2 Foundations - May be built with a wood floor using wood skids or on a concrete slab.
Door Details - The plans show how to build the door on the long or short walls.. Wall framing plans are included to show how to frame the door openings on the tall wall, short wall or end walls.

16x24 Shed Plans Include The Following:
Alternalte Options: There are four door options to build the 16x24 shed with the double doors on any of the 4 shed walls.
Materials List: The 16x24 shed plans come with a complete materials list that is broken down by parts of the shed.
2 Foundations: There are 2 different foundations are included in the plans; 6x6 Wood skid and Concrete slab.
Floor: 2x6 floor joists with 3/4" floor sheathing when the skid foundation is used.
Walls Framing: 2x4 framing at 16" on center with a double top plate, just like a home is framed.
Wall Height: The walls are designed using 92 5/8" framing studs which makes the walls about 8'-1" tall.
Door: The shed plans show how to frame openings for 6068 double doors. Plans for home built doors are included or you can use factory built doors from a local door shop. Plans show door framing for long or short walls.
Siding: T1-11 siding or installing O.S.B. and other sidings like vinyl or stucco.
Roof: The roof is designed to use pre-engineered trusses to account for the larger roof span and local conditions.
Roof Pitch: 4/12, this means that for every 4 inches of rise there is 12 inches of run horizontally.
Roof Overhang: 1" on the gable ends and about 6" on the eve ends. Our How To Manual comes with details to frame longer roof overhangs.
Roofing: Low slope metal or 25 year asphalt shingles.
Trim: 1x4 wood, masonite or cement trim materials are used to finish the corners, roof eves and facia.
Floor Load: 50 pounds per square foot for framed floors. This is the same floor load rating used in building homes.
Roof Snow Load: The roof load varies depending on your regional weather conditions. Check with your local building department or truss plant for your local snow load.
