STEPS TO CREATE VIDEO TIMELAPSE

  1. Set up the camera on a tripod. Pick a good vantage point. Preferably looking at one of the corners.
  2. Camera Settings = 10 second intervals, this is typically in the camera settings.
  3. Make sure batteries are charged or plug the camera into a power source.

WAYS TO SEND IN YOUR VIDEO.

  1. It works best to send large files by using a file sharing program like Drop Box or Google Drive or
  2. Photos Settings: Photos taken with a phone camera and emailed

 

WAYS TO SEND IN YOUR IMAGES.

  1. Photos can be sent in as email attachments.
  2. Send in "Large" format. Typically 300 KB to 1.5 MB, this option comes up when sending the photo. Most email services will allow up to 10 mb so you can do 5 images at a time.

Detailed Video Timelapse Settings:

  • 10 Second Intervals (6 frames per minute or 300x)

Other Settings: White Balance = Daylight. Warm Tone. High Contrast. 100 iso.

 

Video Length Math:

(At 10 second intervals you get 6 frames per minute. There are 24 frames per second of video. It takes 4 minutes of recording to make 1 second of video. 60 seconds of video requires 240 minutes or 4 hours of recording.)
